1st Corinthians 15:51-53, “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”
That being said, all living saints MUST die at the Rapture. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Hebrews 9:27b, “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Since all men are guilty sinners, all men MUST die once (i.e., the physical death). But we don't have to die the second death in the everlasting Lake of Fire. The old adage is true: If you're born once, you die twice; if you're born twice, you die once.
So, no, living saints will not escape death at the Rapture. We must die as sinners. But don't worry because the Bible says we will be “changed” in a fraction of a second (i.e., “in the twinkling of an eye”). An eye blink lasts about a tenth of a second, typically ranging from 100 to 400 milliseconds. This quick action helps keep the eyes lubricated and clear of debris. So, all living saints will die at the Rapture and be given a new immortal perfect resurrected body by God before we can even realize what just happened.
